TrackeyAI

Cursor MCP integration

Available in TrackeyAI v2.1.0.0.1 for Windows.

The TrackeyAI Cursor MCP integration lets an authorized Cursor agent session communicate with the locally running TrackeyAI Desktop application. Cursor can participate in governed work and retrieve the status and evidence-backed outcome of an authorized run. TrackeyAI—not the agent's own completion message—remains the authority for governance decisions.

Connect Cursor

  1. Start TrackeyAI Desktop and confirm that its local service is running.
  2. Open TrackeyAI's Integrations settings and configure the Cursor MCP connection.
  3. In Cursor, open Customize → MCP to review the TrackeyAI MCP server.
  4. Authenticate the Cursor agent's MCP session when prompted. A configured integration or a successful desktop connection test does not, by itself, authenticate an active Cursor agent session.
  5. Ask the Cursor agent to retrieve the status of a governed run you are authorized to access.

Working with governed runs

Use the Cursor integration to follow the run's Execution Contract, submit permitted check-ins and evidence, inspect the authoritative PASS, FIX, or STOP result, and verify whether the run is complete. A checkpoint PASS is not automatically a closed run: the run disposition must show run_completion_closed: true.

The Low, Medium, and High (Beta) intensity settings determine the required governance workflow. See Governance intensity for the differences.

If Cursor reports "Not connected"

Keep TrackeyAI Desktop running. In Cursor, reload the MCP servers using MCP: Reload Servers (or toggle the TrackeyAI server off and on), then authenticate the Cursor MCP agent session again. Recheck connectivity before repeating a read-only status request. A connection failure does not mean the governed run failed.

Coming soon

Claude Code and OpenCode integration support is planned. These integrations are not part of the supported Cursor MCP release in v2.1.0.0.1. Availability and timing will be announced in a future product update.
